

Mrs. Virginia Graves passed away on December 8, 2015 surrounded by her family at home in Madison, MS. Born on April 11, 1932 in Crowley, LA, she moved to Jackson, MS in 1959 and later moved to Madison in 1983. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Graves was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Eugene Griffin Sr. and Elmira Griffin, brothers Thomas Eugene Griffin, Joe Griffin, Jim Griffin and sister Betty Beardsley. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William T. Graves, daughter Kathy Keeton and her husband Danny, son Bill Graves and his wife Chastity of Monroe, LA, granddaughters Amanda Keeton, Ashley Peden and her husband Blake, and grandson Landon Graves.
Visitation will be held at Parkway Funeral Home on December 11, 2015 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm with funeral services immediately following at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made in Virginia’s name to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
The family would like to thank the Hospice Ministries staff for their care and compassion over the past few months. A special word of thanks is given to caregivers, Annie Johnson, Barbara Coleman, Melissa Short, TaMonica Brown, Janice Smith, Annie Johnson Sr., and Metrice Wilder.
