Betty McBride Marshall

Betty McBride Marshall, 73, of 121 Maple Street, Martinsville died, Monday February 20, 2012 at Martinsville Memorial. Betty was born in Henry Co, July 5, 1938 to the late Henry Wade and Pearl McBride Wade. She was a homemaker and enjoyed babysitting. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith and attended First Assembly of God of Martinsville.

She is survived by her husband of fifty seven years, Chester Marshall of the home, four daughters, LaQueta Marshall Carroll of Florida, Susan Marshall of South Carolina, Patricia East of Martinsville and Charity Coleman of Collinsville, one son, Tim Marshall of Danville, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at Roselawn Burial Park with Rev. Joe Nunley officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 23, in the chapel of Community Funeral Services of Ridgeway and other times at the home on Maple Street.

Community Funeral Services of Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
