Frances Willis
April 19, 1937 – April 4, 2016
Frances Howes Cox Willis, 78, of Bassett, passed away on April 4, 2016 at her home. She was born in Sara Ann, West Virginia on April 19, 1937 to Harvey and Grace Miller Howes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William "Bill" Cox and her second husband, Charles Davis Willis, Jr.; son, Barry Allen Cox; sister, Betty Carroll; and brother, J.J. Howes.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne, Layne and Rodney Cox; step-daughters, Debra Owens and Stacey Willis; sisters, Irene Matherly and Charlotte McNelly; brother, Michael Howes; eleven grandchildren and twelve greatgrandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Orchard Drive Baptist Church with Pastor Malcom Anthony officiating
