Jonathan Wesley Hopkins

He is survived by his father; Ernest Donald “Don” Hopkins of Martinsville, sister; Lisa Hopkins of Martinsville, uncles; Clyde Hopkins, Elwood Hopkins, Lowell Hopkins, Paul Hopkins, and Donald Joyce. He is also survived by many loving cousins.

“Jon” was a poet and authored the book “200 Poems” by Jonathan W. Hopkins.

Visitation was at Collins Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be today, Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Old Center Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Carl Terry and Elder Mark Terry officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
