Kenneth Ray Ashby

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Scotty Ashby.

He is survived by his wife Ethel Lee Dickenson Ashby; daughter Kenya Wade and husband Adam; sister Patricia Knight and husband Johnnie, brothers Bobby Ashby and wife Ruth , and Ronnie Ashby and wife Carolyn; grandchildren Amber Harrell, Brittany Ashby, Hannah Ferguson, Tristan Wade; and one great granddaughter Alexis Ashby.

Kenneth was a foreman with the Henry County PSA. He loved hunting and fishing.

The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at New Life Community Church, 415 Mica Road, Ridgeway, VA 24148. Pastor Terry Knighten will be officiating. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
