Mary R. Hooker

She was born in Henry Co on September 24, 1919 to the late Forest Edwards Roberts and Lilly Mable Smith Roberts.

She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Otis Hooker, one foster son, Ricky Seay, three sisters, Fannie Wagner, Marie Lineberry and Kathleen Moore and two brothers, David and Daniel Roberts.

Surviving are one son, Otis McCoy Hooker of Martinsville, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010 in the chapel of Community Funeral Service of Ridgeway with Reverend Calvin Holden officiating, interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery of Ridgeway.

The family will receive friends 7-8p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2010 in the chapel of Community Funeral Service of Ridgeway and other time at the home of a granddaughter 505 Southland Drive, Martinsville.
