Melanie Kay Bateman Pruitt, 54, of Ridgeway passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. She was born in Eden, NC. on May 2, 1962 to the late Carlis Irvin Bateman and Doris Mildred Bateman.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Pruitt; daughter, Leigh Ann Pruitt; son, Jeffrey Wayne Pruitt; grandchildren, Nathan Ray Pruitt and Allssya Pruitt; sister, Shirley Ann Salmon; and brother, Drewey Allen Batemen.
Mrs. Pruitt was a member of the Wayside Baptist Church.
