Melody Saeger Wright

Melody Seagar Wright, 45, of 76 Rocky Branch Lane, Stuart, died Thursday March 18, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.

She was born in Lake Forest, Illinois, to Rodney Hebert Seagar of Lawsonville, NC and the late Eleanor Grace Miller Seagar. She was the Co-owner and operator of Wright’s Auto and Truck Parts of Stuart for more than fifteen years. She was a member of New Beginning Baptist Church where her husband is pastor.

In addition to her father she is survived by her husband, Pastor. J. Mark Wright of the home, five sisters, Joyce Seagar of Stoneville, NC; Ann Hoffman of Gresham, Wisconsin; Ellen Jones of Jupiter, FL; Marykay Phillips of Williamston, SC; Linda Raab of Lawsonville, NC and Dennise Yonker of Leopolis, Wisconsin, several nieces and nephews and two faithful companions, her Shetland Sheep Dogs, Seth and Charity.

Funeral services will be held 2:00p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at New Beginnings Baptist Church with Pastors Mark Wright, Bernard Handy and J.R. Shelton officiating, burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will received friends 6-9 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 at New Beginnings Baptist Church in Patrick Springs and other times at the home of her father, Rodney Saegar of 1254 Sam Corns Road, Lawsonville, NC.
