Michael Nmn Lawson
December 17, 1955 – April 15, 2017
Michael Lawson, 61, of Ridgeway, Va., passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He was born in Rockingham County, NC. on December 17, 1955 to Willie Lawson and Mary Lucy Higgs Lawson.
He is survived by his daughter Michele Lawson; grandson Jaylen Michael Lawson; granddaughter Gianna Katherine Lawson; sisters Doris Massey and her husband Jerry, and Marie Clifton; brother James Lawson and his wife Keeta; niece Billie Jean Massey; and his lady friend Cheryl Southall.
Michael was in the construction business as a pipe fitter. He was of Baptist faith.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, 20, 2017, at Community Funeral Services Chapel, with the Rev. Daniel Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
