He is survived by his wife Betty Holland Nash; daughter Charlotte Hall and husband David; sister Marylin Beebe; grandchildren Brittany Hylton and husband Chris, Meghan Hall, Brandon Hall and one great-granddaughter Isadora Grace Hylton. .
Sidney work for a time at Bassett Mirror in Quality Control. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Bassett. He also served in the Air Force.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Community Funeral Services Chapel, with the Pastor Clyde Hylton officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
