Two years you have been on your new adventure , and everyday hurts like the day you left. October is A loss of a child Awareness month  I just found that out recently, and papa mommy is very struggling very hard right now Missing you  and trying not to fall into any deep depressions . Here comes the Birthdays and yours very soon Then Holidays  Our favorite places we all shared is now very sad without you ! I have to push very hard to get through those times . My dear special little angel. You have been a blessing that came to enlighten us and to remind us that life is special and not to take it for granted.  You taught us that angels do come to visit us and your purpose was to teach us not to give up, but to fight.  You taught us that a smile goes a long way and your smile was infectious.  You loved to talk to us and let us know "hey I'm right here".  I wish you could have stayed longer, but Father God said "it's time to come home." I miss you and a piece of me went with you but you are with so many great people and now you can run, play, climb trees.and eat from the table of plenty.  You can sing and be care free and I'm sure you have a beautiful set of wings and can fly all over heaven.  It was an honor being your "granmama" or as your sister calls me "Damaw".  Love you always

When you came into this world on November 16, 2010 It was an honor to share the same birthday with you. I was also honored that your mom and dad chose me and Michelle to be your godparents.  As your god parents we Baptize you and when I held you up high for the parishioners in the church to see was truly one of the best feelings in the world.  I have memories of holding you when I tried to put you to sleep which was often times a struggle but was worth every minute when you finally fell asleep in my arms.  Although I can no longer hold you in my arms I will hold you very tight in my heart.  The strength and perseverance you showed time and time again made me believe there was nothing you couldn't overcome, you made me proud to know what a fighter you were.  Now your time has come to play amongst the angels and the family you hadn't met yet.     
They say that the pain of losing some never goes away but lessens over time.  Only time will tell if that will in fact happen however I can take comfort knowing that you are no longer in pain and will forever rest in peace.   November the 16th will never be the same again but I promise you that Nino will continue to celebrate our special day forever until the day we meet again.

Thank you for giving us the honor and selecting us to be Donnie's god parents. I am proud to call you family and will forever be grateful to know I have family that is as strong as you all have been the past 5 plus years.  Day in and day out we watched in amazement the care you have gave Donnie, it was truly unbelievable.  I know deep down in my heart that Donnie's last words to you were Mommy and Daddy Thank you very much for taking care of me the way you did, I Love You.

I'm very sorry to hear your little Angel has departed to be in heaven. I remember the day when you came in to the office, very worried about his health, Bishop Rutilio happened to be there and he gave him a very special blessing. May our good Lord give you strength to bear the pain of loosing your wonderful son. Keep him in your hearts forever.

To my little Nephew Adan Jr. AKA Donnie's, Papa Duke's and Lil Hulk. Tio Javier will miss you so much. He is going to miss that beautiful smile and laugh of yours. From the moment you came into the world we knew you were our earth angel. God made you shine here and I know you will shine by his side. You are the toughest person I have ever known. You battled every single day a trait you got from your mom and dad. I know you are in heaven enjoying eternal life with God and all our family members that have passed on. There will be a big void in my life knowing I can't see, talk and hold you anymore but I will always carry you in my heart. Holidays will be super tough Especially Halloween and Christmas and Your Birthday but just know I will never forget about you. I know you will worry about your mom and dad and your 2 sisters but know we will take care of them and I know you will watch over them and be their Guardian Angel. It was the greatest honor to have in my life Donnie's. This is not goodbye but a until I see you again. Tio Javier Loves you so much.

It's never a goodbye it's see you later you left a mark on all of our hearts through the cheesy smiles ,laughs and the fighter you are and the memories you brought us , but one thing will always stick with me is the way you looked at your mom and dad it's the look I could never forget , smiled no matter what obstacles you faced a smile made your parents happy and all our hearts melt the way your sister would talk to you you just giggled at her singing her songs , Donnie you have a place in my heart 
You are my Han Solo, a true fighter to the very end we all love you

When God places a child in our arms, we are forever blessed...we are forever changed. Jr. brought a new and amazing love into all our lives. We learned strength, perseverance, compassion and unconditional love. His smiles brought us joy, the way he said, "mum", showed us love....  all of which will be missed. There is peace in knowing that he is among the Angels with our Lord....talking, running, playing, eating and laughing. He is our Angel.  We will miss you Jr., may Our Lord bless and keep you....until we meet again.

A moment....God gave you to us for a moment and how lucky we are.  You gave strength, during times of weakness. You showed courage, in the face of fear. Because of you, life is forever changed for the better. You have taught us to open our eyes and our hearts to the beauty of what is you.  With each smile and giggle, you shared the value and joy of life. 

So walk peaceful and free into Heaven Donnie, you have earned it. The Lord called your name, and you answered. So play amongst the Angels and be free. We will miss you and will keep you forever in our hearts.

Donnie. Where do I even begin? You have brought so much joy into each of our hearts. Your smiles would melt my heart in an instant! You had the love and innocence of a child that can't be explained. You were such a strong boy who never gave up on whatever obstacles came your way. God just wanted you back into his loving arms much earlier than any of us wanted. I know you're in a wonderful place with some amazing people. And I know you're able to do what you couldn't do here on Earth. I'm sure you're loving all the food, all the running around, and I'm sure you're telling all these great stories. I wonder what you and Grampa are talking about up there ;) Thank you for allowing me to know such a special angel such as yourself - I feel honored and privileged. You have taught me to never take life for granted and appreciate everyday that God has given us. Please watch over all of us and stay by our sides. I'm glad to have you as a guardian angel. Thank you for allowing me a few beautiful moments in his life. Whenever I saw Donnie, he had such a beautiful light of love around him and the most beautiful smile. He was such a strong lil Man, his strength always amazed me. As well as seeing your family's love and bond ❤

I don't think theirs enough words to describe how much we miss you little guy. I look up at the sky and I know your watching over all of us. You are so loved by so many people! I know we can't be selfish I know your in a better place where you are running free and being the little boy you were always meant to be. We will never forget about you! If were crying it's because we miss you so much and are always thinking about you! So you enjoy yourself up in heaven God knows he has the coolest little Angel up their. I'll never say goodbye to you but I'll see you later because one day all of us will see you again. So just know your Tia and uncle and cousins love you so much and we miss you everyday. Don't be shy to come visit us in our dreams I'll look forward to seeing your happy little self. I love you so much little guy I'm sending you lots and lots of air kisses and hugs. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
