Agnes Moise, 90, of Corona, California, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Corail, Haiti, she was one of five sisters and the cherished daughter of Lelia and Phelias Moise. From her earliest days, Agnes carried a quiet grace and kindness that made everyone around her feel seen, valued, and cared for.
A devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Agnes dedicated her life to her family, her community, and the Catholic Church. She was a woman of deep faith, patience, and unwavering strength—an anchor for all who loved her. Whether planning her next pèlerinage (pilgrimage), tending to her beloved plants, or sharing laughter around the kitchen table, she created a home that radiated love, discipline, and comfort.
Agnes served as the coordinator for the first Charismatic Conference Committee and was honored by Father Flanagan’s Boys Home for her contributions to the children of Boystown. Her commitment to service was matched only by her devotion to the people she loved.
Her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children—Kathy; James and his wife, Elsie; Martine and her husband, Volney; and Jeffrey and his wife, Jennifer. She leaves behind her grandchildren—Jason, Christyna and her husband Roneil, Stephanie, Kageene, Nephtali, Lindsay, Marvney, Ajani, Jordan, Jadeyn, Joshua, and Jenaya; her great grandchildren—Maliq and Gabriella; and her only surviving sister, Nelly. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who will miss her deeply. Her legacy of unconditional love will continue to live on through every generation she touched.
A celebration of her beautiful life will be held on June 26 at 2:00 PM at the Horsethief Canyon Clubhouse, 13289 Mountain Rd., Corona, CA 92883. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Catholic Church.
