Greenfield ,Missouri, to the late Pauline Austin Barker and the late Roscoe Jackson
Barker, passed away at the age of 87 on May 21, 2018 in Riverside, California. Albert
was preceded in death by his sister Jean Ivers. He is survived by his Sons, Gary
Barker, Larry Barker and Beau Barker; Daughters, Sandra Mossa and Sarah Terella;
stepdaughters; Jennifer Bryant and Holly Terella; sisters; Alice Kelso and Patricia
Brown;19 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren.
Albert came to California from Missouri at the age of 16, with his parents and 3
sisters. He attended schools in Redondo Beach, California and worked as a cabinet
maker and a truck driver. He married and divorced twice. He enjoyed working on
and restoring old cars, camping, fishing and riding motorcycles. In 1973 he moved to
Norco, California. He enjoyed breeding his pinto horses and had quite an assortment
of animals. In his later years after he retired, he lived with his daughter Sandi and
her family in Norco. He loved getting in his car and just going for a drive, and
especially liked it when he ended up at a casino. He loved to play the penny slots.
He loved the times he spent with his kids and grandchildren, and looked forward to
family gatherings and any opportunity to tell his stories. He will be missed.
Although God now holds Albert in his arms, his family forever will hold him in their
hearts.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the visitation on Thursday, May
31,2018 and the graveside service on Friday June 1, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. In the
Garden of Honor at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Ave.
Riverside, Ca.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at the home of his daughter Sandi after
the services.
