Alfred, you were such a kind and loving soul. Your twins, Rachelle and Michelle are like you in so many ways. I am so sorry you had to leave this world during the coronavirus pandemic. It is very difficult for everyone but I am sure they find comfort knowing you are no longer in pain,  and you are now in perfect health. You can walk again and you are surrounded by Angels and in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Rest in everlasting paradise, Alfred.

My grandpa was the most sweetest and loving man and I always loved to come visit him because when I did he would always have the biggest smile on his face when he saw us grandkids. I would always liked to ask how he met my grandma and why he got his tattoos because it was so cute how he would explain it. I’m gonna miss him a lot, I love you grandpa and your forever in our hearts. ❤️

My grandpa was one of the most kind and peaceful people I have ever known. It seemed like he always had a smile on his face no matter what! All those years growing up it seemed like he was always in and out of the hospital and every time I went to go see him in his room he would have a smile on his face and say “hi meija! Comò estàs!” And I always wondered how he could still have a smile on his face.. it was because he was with his family! He loves us so much and we love him that much more! My grandpa had such a big heart.. I hope to have one filled with as much love as his. I’m so proud to be called your granddaughter. I love you and miss you papa, until we meet again in heaven.

My dad was the best. He was a loving, giving and understanding man. Every time we would visit he would always try to give me something to take home. I will truly miss walking into his house and seeing him watching his western movies which he could watch for hours.  I am so blessed to call him dad and I will forever be thankful for everything you did for us and my girls. You will forever live in our hearts and our memories and my grand children will also know what a wonder great grandfather you were. May you rest in peace dad . I love you ❤

I remember when we were young, and even older my Uncle Popeye and Aunt Nita used to always come visit his brother Juan and my mom and us kids, those are memories I'll always treasure you are truly going to be missed by many. We loved you and in our hearts you will always stay. My deepest condolences goes out to my Aunt Nita and my cousins and family we love you all and were keeping you all in our prayers.We are here if you need us for anything.

My uncle Popeye was one of the kindest 💗 men I knew! I will always remember him as a loving husband and father.  I will never forget his soft and gentle voice.  He always  had a beautiful smile and laugh. And I will miss him very much!! RIP TIO!🙏

My most recent memory of Uncle Popeye was when I visited him in the Convalescent hospital and found him enjoying a black & white Cowboy series! He was in a good mood and had the sweetest smile! 😊 I prayed with him and saw the peace of God on his face! 🙏🏻
Two years ago he made the effort, in a wheelchair to attend my Dad’s (Ruben) funeral in which we were all grateful to him and his immediate family.....but now due to the current Coronavirus we are not allowed to gather together for his,  which makes me sad! To the family we send our sincere Condolences and prayers... May the good Lord bless and comfort you all!!💜 (an old picture but us siblings are still alive)

Uncle Popeye was a good man. I remember when my pops would go to his and visit. As we would make are rounds to see aunt Bea. Or would see him at grandma's house. Rest in peace. 

My Papa will be missed and loved forever. He was a man of thankfulness and enjoyed the small things of life. I have many memories but a favorite and my earliest was him trying to teach me Spanish. I was 3-4 years and of course the first word he tells me is “Café” a daily must have for him. My grandpa was happy with a plain black coffee, sitting in his yard enjoying the breeze and sun and late night westerns. May I remember through life to find joy in the simple things as he did. Forever I will hold your smile and our talks in my heart. Although you may no longer be with us I say with confidence that you are resting in peace and walking in paradise with our Lord.

We had good memories of our visits with Popeye.   He would always be watching old westerns on TV and always had interesting stories about the show or the actors. We will miss him on our visits to Nita's. RIP Popeye!!

You were always a very nice and generous person. When ever we would visit, we would  come home with a plant that you would give us from your yard. Thank you for your kindness towards our  family. We will miss you. May you rest in peace and be with God for eternity.

I remember my tio all the little times when I was with my dad just seeing the happiness in his eyes saying hi to me and the happiness seeing my dad and the grocery visits I think I seen tio more with tia shopping in the market than anywhere else! But the greatest memory I will cherish in my heart is seeing him in the convelesant home the last time talking with him  seeing his smile and praying upon his tired body I asked him tio would you like to receive the lord in your heart and he smiled at me and said yes and when we were praying together he grabbed my hands so tightly like he didn’t want to let go!! I will never forget his smile on his face it was a smile of comfort of peace in his eyes! I love you tio and I know I will see you again in heaven !!!!!!

I remember always visiting uncle popeye and my nina anita and kids on weekends with my dad Jess (tuti) either we were at there house or they were at ours but always had lot of fun and I will  always remember my tio always with a big smile and always happy he sure is gonna be missed may you R.I.P always tio popeye 

I remember visiting Uncle Popeye with my Dad Richard & Sister Rosa. We would barbeque and have fun visiting.
