Chère Andrina, 
Ton départ soudain nous a profondément affligés. Tu es parti rejoindre les étoiles, et tu laisses un vide immense dans le cœur de tous ceux qui t'ont aimée. 

Les circonstances de la vie ne nous ont pas permis de nous voir souvent, mais de loin, nous avons suivi tes brillantes études, nous avons lu les éloges de tes professeurs et de tes collègues ainsi que les exploits dans ta carrière. Sans oublier ton talent culinaire. 

Nous conserverons à jamais les précieux moments passés à tes côtés, à Riverside et chez nous en France. Ta gentillesse et ta générosité vont terriblement nous manquer à tous. Ta mémoire sera toujours gravée dans nos cœurs.

My heart is with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. We were close in high school. I remember Andrina always striving for excellence, and it inspired everyone around her. She was beautiful, loving, and intelligent. She will be deeply missed. May her memory live on the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

I miss you Andriny. I miss our times together in high school. You were so smart, beautiful, and passionate. I loved watching you play tennis and lead The North Star as the Co- Editor-in-Chief. Everyone adored you. I still cannot believe you’re no longer with us...  you’ll always be in my heart.

My deepest condolences for your loss.  Andrina was one of the most brilliant students I have taught.  Recently we had begun working together and I was so impressed by her intelligence, grace, and maturity.  It is not easy to critique the writing of your former professor but she did so in a way that I could not wait for her next message.  I will cherish the connection we had begun to rebuild. Ma chère cousine,

Il est difficile de trouver les mots face à ton départ si soudain.

Même si nos vies nous avaient éloignés, je garderai toujours au fond de moi les souvenirs heureux de notre enfance, chez nous en France, ou à Riverside.

J’aime à penser que, de là où tu es, tu veilles désormais sur ceux que tu aimes.
Toutes mes pensées vont vers tes parents, ta grande sœur Adeline, ainsi que vers tous tes proches, à qui tu laisses un immense vide.

Ton souvenir restera vivant dans nos cœurs et dans nos mémoires.

Dear Anh and Hugues.  Steve just got a text from Rick about Andrina.  I am stricken with grief for you!  I still remember those first days after I lost my daughter in 1981.  Our children should not pass first.   My heart goes out to you and I will be thinking of you every day as you travel on the path of grief.  with loving thoughts and prayers.
