

Angie was the daughter of Charlie and Ruth Spath. She grew up alongside her siblings, Bud, Dorothy, and Mary Lou in Chambers, Nebraska. After high school, Angie attended Beauty College in Omaha, Nebraska where she met her future beloved husband, Keith “Mickey” McMillen of 59 years. She was a proud Air Force wife during her husband’s 20-year career. Together, they built a strong and loving family, raising their two daughters, Sandra Kennedy (Pete) and Cynthia Hauser (Allan); grandmother to Brian Kennedy (Katie), Matthew Ruiz and Sarah Hauser, great-grandmother to Connor, Kelsey and Kayleigh Kennedy.
Angie enjoyed participating in her daughter’s activities as note taker for hula lessons, Girl Scout leader, Room Mother and cheering on her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Some of the many talents she enjoyed were sewing, crocheting, cake decorating, ceramics, crafting and watching LA Lakers on television. Angie was a very good cook too.
During Angie & Mickey’s retirement they treasured their time RVing across the country to visit family and friends.
She was a friend to many and knew no stranger. Angie is now with the love of her life Mickey who she missed deeply after his passing in 2013.
We are all extremely blessed to have had such an amazing woman in our lives.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th, 11:00am – 12:00pm at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life after the memorial service at 24459 Via Primero, Murrieta, CA 92562. Angie will be laid to rest with her husband Mickey at the Riverside National Cemetery at a later date.
