Arthur ‘Bill’ William Dodd passed away on February 17, 2017 in Riverside, CA. at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Joan Dodd, children: Jim, Bob (Mei), Lon (Peggy), Dorene and Colleen (Dave), as well as 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Bill was born in Paso Robles, CA and joined the Air Force at the age of 17, retiring after 21 years. He then went to work in the Civil Service at March Air Force Base where he spent 17 years in food service. Bill loved interacting with people and remained busy as a crossing guard, playing with his grandchildren and talking to as many people as who would listen.
An informal memorial service will be help on Friday, February 24 from 1pm to 4pm at Jurupa Hills Cascade Mobile Home Park Club House, located at 6130 Camino Real, Riverside CA. In lieu of flowers please spend time enjoying the special people in your life, making a new friend or talking with a stranger. That is what Bill would do.
