Tio Art & Tia Nani were the heart of so many joyful memories growing up for my brothers,  and I. Just imagine my brothers 3 and 5 years old when we lived in Hollister. Tio Art buys some green machines that my brothers can ride down the mountain that says so much of uncle Art. He  sparked adventure in their childhood. Tia  Nani ever present by his side. every year during August, my parents would leave to Tennessee and Tio Art& Tia Nani  would step in not out of obligation but out of pure love giving my brothers,  and I making magical moments to experience. Also taking my brothers camping going fishing experiencing adventures. Once we lived  in Santa Barbara, Tio Art and Tia Nani taking us to the fiesta days every August. We remember enjoying mariachi music &  good food those are the kind of memories that become golden threads in our family story. You will be missed Tio Art. 🕊️

Rest in peace Mr Palmerin, you always treated me with respect and I will always remember you for your graciousness

More than anyone else Art was more instrumental in my development both personally and professionally. He saw things in me that I did not see in myself. He got on me when I needed it and we cried together during our time of loss. Over the years we listened to each other's stories of family, friends and travels. He told me of how he and his father walked across the border when he was nine years old and the struggles he and his family had to overcome. He introduced me to his family and I always felt welcomed. He took me to his homeland to meet his uncle, and I was welcomed. Lastly, he gave me the nickname of his childhood friend (that I didn't like). He said I was pudgy like he was. :) He always smiled when he would say it and I saw that it gave him pleasure so I learned to appreciate it. I'm not going to say that I will miss him because I have missed him since I last saw his standing there smiling. Until we meet again, my friend. "Chuey"🥲

We shared so much together along with your family and friends. It’s with a heavy heart that I say goodbye. Our love and condolences  go out to your family , From the Tonkins, Phillip ,Paula ,Blair , Anna and Graham.
