Rest in Peace Austin as you sit behind Home plate, catcher glove out and smiling at the Pitcher.  My thoughts and prayer are with the family.  Austin touched so many lives, he is a Special Angel.  Austin was good friend to Eddie, they had some great times traveling across the States doing what they love.  Always in our hearts, forever smiling on the field.  Baseball Gods welcomed Austin in with open arms.  Austin is now and forever guardian Angel. RIP Austin we will miss you.

It is true, that words cannot begin to express the sadness of Austin's early passing. We pray to God and Angel Austin to give Love and Strength to the Gorrell family and friends. Austin will be forever missed, but his Spirit will always be there for us.  God Bless you all!

For a friend who was more than a roommate, who was unconditionally kind and generous, I'll miss the stories and long fun nights and early mornings. Heaven has a new angel that we'll all miss dearly. Rest in Peace my friend

My heart is broken for your family and for the loss of this amazing kid.  I remember all the boys playing little league together and then high school baseball.  Austin, with his warmth, ability to quickly make others feel at ease, and amazing sense of humor, served his purpose well for the Lord.  We will never know why God called him home so soon.  Clearly, they needed a catcher up there and Gos only recruits the best.  Austin is not gone.  He lives on in every life that he touched.  The vessel has been discarded, but the spirit never dies. 
Austin is "home" .  It's so hard for those of us that he left behind while continuing on to his next big journey.  
I think about you daily and the impact that this loss will forever have on your family.   All of my love and deepest sympathy as you celebrate the life of your son while being forced to let him go at the same time.

Love and Strength for the Gorrell Family- Austin & My son Derrin spent time on Team Calif baseball, traveled together and had lots of laughs. Austin was Derrin's catcher and a great one !!!! We will cherish the times we had. Love to Gina, Kerry and Adam.

My heart and prayers go out to Austins family. My son Austin and Austin became friends at UNR over the last 2 months. My son told me he was down in the commons and Austin came up to him and started talking to him. My son called me and said he met a really cool guy on the baseball team. As a parent we all want our kids to be liked and welcomed and feel comfortable in their surroundings. Austin made sure that my son felt that way and for that I am forever grateful. Their needs to be more parents like you that raise  kids to make people feel comfortable in their surroundings. Thank you for raising such a generous, and kind young man. He will be forever in our hearts.

A time to grieve and honor a life way too brief. Words cannot begin to express the sadness of such a tragic loss. However, he was definitely an angel sent to earth to touch so many  lives. God Bless you all during this difficult time.

We are saddened by this huge loss... Our thoughts & prayers are with all that love Austin. May Gods Grace be with you all as Austin has earned his wings. We will continue to pray for peace at this difficult time. Rest in Peace sweet Austin.

You made 7th grade P.E so fun every single day, there was never a day that you didn't crack funny jokes. Rest in peace buddy. I'll see you again one day.
