Mrs. Barbara Louise Drake was born in Riverside, California on November 3, 1924 and passed away in Moreno Valley, California on January 12, 2016. Barbara leaves behind an extraordinary legacy, including 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Drake and her Sister, Charla Fischer.
A life time resident of Riverside, she was born to Charles and Maie Ricker on November 3, 1924 and married her husband Herbert on January 27, 1945. Barbara dedicated her life to her family and her community and served her church as a lifetime member of the First Christian Church of Riverside. She loved to sing in the choir and play the piano. Some of her other passions were gardening and sewing, especially pot holders. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Evergreen Cemetery Memorial Fund or the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center.
