BENJAMIN WALKER KUHN Benjamin Walker Kuhn born in Hermosa Beach, CA. on November 29, 1920, Walker spent his youth in various Los Angeles cities and in Mexico City. He graduated from Glendale High School, Stanford University with a BA in Political Science and University of Southern California with a BS in Engineering. A life-long learner, he took many pre-law courses at UCR after attaining the age of 80. His career in construction took him to many U.S. locations where he built freeways, dams, and reservoirs; with his fence company, he and his partner were responsible for building and installing all fencing for such venues as the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and for the Blythe Prison. Walker is predeceased by his parents, Gladys Cobb Kuhn and Benjamin Walker Kuhn, Sr., his brother Robert Keane Kuhn, and his wife Billie, to whom he was wed on July 30, 1943. He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Kuhn Aase, his son John Walker Kuhn, his three grandchildren; Erin Aase Warner (Jeff); Adam Walker Aase (Marsha); Medina Kuhn; and his five great-grandchildren; Tyler, Ryan and Jacob Warner; and Luke and Sophia Aase. Services are set for Friday, August 9, 2013. Viewing will be at 11:00 a.m. at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA. 92504 . A graveside service will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the family plot at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier (Gate 11).
