Bertha Ann Anderson (Lovingly known by her family as Pollo), sadly, passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born in Gallup, NM to Joaquin and Ophelia Hernandez but called San Bernardino, CA her home.
Bertha Ann went through life helping others and caring for those in need. She cherished her time with friends, going to the movies, and dining out. She liked to compile her all-time favorite Bible verses.
Bertha is preceded by her husband, Gordon Anderson, her parents, and her sister, Rachel Clayton. She is survived by her son, Michael D. Magers, and Grandson Michael M. Magers, both of Texas. Her Sisters Ruth Lee of Arkansas, and Brenda Baca of New Mexico. She leaves her nieces, Tyra Lee of Washington, and Andrea May of New Mexico, as well as a nephew, Benjamin Foster of New Mexico. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Bertha’s many friends who shared in her life, especially Randy Rodriquez and Ora Parks for all the love and care they provided.
May she rest in peace and know we love her.
As per Bertha’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
