CAROLYN BARBARA FARIAS Age 78, passed away from cancer on May 9, 2013. She was a resident of Moreno Valley for 38 years. Barbara liked to visit Hawaii. She enjoyed listening to Hawaiian music. Her theme while she was President of Mission Calfornia Council was Fairies. She would sprinkle fairy dust when she visited other California Councils. She is survived by her husband, Alfred; daughters, Valerie and Vanessa; sons, Afred and Alan; and grandchildren, Alexandra, Francisca and Tyler. She is preceded in death by her parents Fielding and Carolyn Lane; and her brother Fielding Robert Lane. Memorial service will be held on June 1st at 11:30 a.m. at the Moreno Valley Elks Lodge #2697, 12125 Day Street, Moreno Valley, CA 92557. Private services will be held at Riverside National Cemetary. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society . Barbara will be remembered as a loving friend, wife, mother and grandmother.
