Charles Wayne Johnson

He was born in Hominey, Oklahoma on November 30, 1946. Wayne graduated from Joliet West High school and received a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University.

He was married to Janice Johnson on February 25, 1977, married for 49 years!

After the family moved to Norco in 1981, he enjoyed assisting the kids with their horses and 4-H projects.

Wayne had a career in finance for over 50 years, retiring from Village Nurseries, as their Chief Financial Officer in 2018.

For many years Wayne bowled with The Amateur Bowling Tour and enjoyed much success. He especially enjoyed the Colorado River home and it’s many water toys, and casinos.

His favorite current past times were football – the LA Rams, current events, following the stock market, Fox News, and The Price is Right.

He was survived by daughter Stacy Glenn and sons Craig Cornwall and Brian Johnson, grandsons Brody and Tyler Johnson, granddaughter MacKenzie Johnson, sister Carol Sue Johnson of St. Petersburg, Florida, as well as a nephew and several nieces. He was preceded in death by brother David Lonnie Johnson and grandson Christopher Douglas.

Charles Wayne Johnson was born on November 30, 1946. He passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 79. He was a resident of Norco for 45 years.

A visitation will be held at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, located at 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505, on February 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at the same location on February 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
