

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother

Chiseko “Rosemary” Diyorio, 90, of Riverside, California, entered into eternal life on September 23, 2018, with many family members by her side. She was born on April 16, 1928, in Osaka, Japan.
Rosemary met Ed, her husband of nearly 60 years, in Fukuoka, Japan in 1948. They married in 1951 and relocated to southern California in 1952. In 1962, the couple settled in Riverside where they raised eight children. Rosemary was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her children and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with her family, especially during the holidays and family get-togethers. Rosemary was know for her quick wit and feisty sense of humor. All who knew her will miss her.
Rosemary is survived by her loving children Bob (Cathy), Elayne (Bill Murray), Lorraine (Victor Poisson), Bill (Lisa), John (Catherine), Pat, and Cathrine (Tim Wright), 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Her husband and her eldest son, Ed, preceded her in death.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018, 11:15 am, at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Staging Area #7, Riverside, California. After the service, a reception will be held at the California Citrus State Historic Park, 9400 Dufferin Ave., Riverside.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
