Christopher Lauren Beckman

Chris was born on October 7, 1969 in Orange County, California to Richard and Beverly (Montavon) Beckman. Chris moved with his parents to Riverside in 1977. He graduated from LaSierra High School and attended Riverside City College prior to his employment with the City of Brea. Chris worked for the city for 33 years until his passing.

Chris loved the band 311 and he went to 33 of their concerts. He liked bowling, amusement parks, going for long drives, playing cards, VW Bugs, and cooking.

Chris was preceded in death by his beloved son Brandon Christopher Beckman, his grandparents Robert and Dorothy Montavon, and his grandfather Lauren Beckman. He is survived by his parents Richard and Beverly Beckman, his wife Helen Beckman, his daughter and son-in-law Kyle and Elissa (Beckman) Hayes, his granddaughters Madeline Hayes, Teagan Hayes and Cameron Hayes, his son Chad Beckman, his stepson Connor Sheehy, his stepdaughter Samantha Sheehy, his sister and brother-in-law David and Lesley (Beckman) Hocker, his niece Kaitlyn Hocker, his niece Olivia Hocker, and his grandmother Wilma Beckman.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 13th at 11:00 AM at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer in Riverside, California.
