Connie M Pittman

Connie was blessed with a large and loving family. She married her husband, John Pittman on January 9, 1960 and shared 56 loving years with him. Connie raised her four children as a stay at home mom for many years. She began working at Rubidoux High School, then Jurupa Middle school kitchens to be close to her children, while they were at school. During this time, her children and husband witnessed how selfless she was, not taking much time for herself. She took care of driving her children to and from church, bible studies, school, sports, after school activities, along with cleaning the house, grocery shopping and preparing meals. All of this before and after working part time at the school kitchens. She stood by her children when they were right or wrong. If they were wrong, they sure knew the consequences would follow. After all of her children were raised, Connie worked for the County of Riverside until retirement.

Connie attended Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, CA since 1980. She was an active member, serving as an usher, mail correspondence councilor, attended and led many Women’s bible studies, along with being committed to many prayer chains. Her love & commitment to the Lord was noticed by all that she met and those who were blessed to know her. Connie lived her life as a Proverbs 31 woman. She raised her children by living her life as a Godly example for them. She supported her husband every moment of their beautiful marriage.

Connie is survived by her Husband John Pittman; her sons Mike Pittman, Kenny Pittman and Jim Pittman; her daughter Lisa Pittman; Her Daughter-in-Laws Taunya Pittman, Tina Pittman and Bernadette Pittman. Her 9 beautiful grand-children, Brandon Pittman, Chad Pittman, Candace Vann, Tiffanie Salazar, Kristina Pittman, Bernadette Guthrie, Sherri Madrid, Jonathan Wood and Andrew Moews. Her adorable great grand-children, Devin Pittman, Haleigh Pittman, Hannah Pittman, Chad Pittman JR, Tessa Vann, Zane Vann, Elizabeth Guthrie, Benjamin Guthrie, Aubrey Madrid, Ava Madrid and Autumn Madrid.

Connie’s celebration of life will be on June 27, 2016 at 10:00am, located at Harvest Christian Fellowship 6115 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. Pastor Marty Hooper will officiate the service.
