Our dear neighbors,
We are saddened at Cory's passing. It won't be the same neighborhood without him. He always had a smile and friendly wave. We know he brought his family much joy through his love. Our hearts are with you. Know we are only a call or steps away, always here for each of you.

Sometimes when I would be out walking and feeling down, Cory would say "Hi! How is it going? Do you need some help." That made me feel better. He was a nice neighbor.

Death, be not proud

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.

Little brother, you fought so long and hard. It's time to rest now. All your pain is gone. I'll miss you terribly and think of you every day. It's hard to imagine I'll never hear your voice or laughter.
In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
