Craig Burton Anderson

Craig B. Anderson passed peacefully at home on

February 17, 2019.

Craig is survived by his wife Joy (his high school

sweetheart); two sons, Scott C. Anderson, Kevin L.

Anderson, daughter-in-law Jaime (Ronstadt) Anderson,

Grandson Madden W. Anderson,

Sisters Carolyn Neelans and Cynthia Trimble. Craig was

preceded in death by his parents Clarence Burton

Anderson and Arlene Anderson.

Craig graduated from Ramona High School in 1969. He

played for the Ramona Rams basketball team where he

was named First Team All-County. He graduated from

Riverside City College and played basketball for the

Tigers.

Craig joined the United States Air Force Reserves

receiving an Honorable Discharge as Sergeant USAFR in

October 1975.

His career began in construction at Foster Paving. He

joined the City of Riverside Public Works Department,

Public Works Inspector II, retiring after 21 years.

He will always be remembered as a simple man who

cherished his time with family, golfing with his lifelong “dirt

bag” buddies, playing with his grandson and throwing daily

tennis balls to his best furry pal Augie.

He will always remain in the hearts of those who knew him

forever. Family and friends can pay their respects at the

Graveside Service and Celebration of Life.

Graveside Services to be held Wednesday March 6th,

10:00 a.m. at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central

Avenue, Riverside, Ca.

Celebration of Life immediately following at the home of

Kevin and Jaime Anderson.
