I think I erased my memory.  Drats!! On our date Dallis bought me a wrist courage.  It felt like the prom I had missed. At my front door, Dallis put it on me. I'll tell you this, Dallis pampered me much better than the young guys I would usually date.  My 1st ever Coursage! Dallis moved in for a kiss when he dropped me off & we enjoyed a small kiss. I wish I had visited Dawn, as Dallis lived with her later in life & I think we both would have enjoyed seeing each other again. Dawn & Walter gave Dallis security as he aged. Big kudos to D & W, for doing the right & compassionate thing.  Well to sum it up, our date was a "good thing"! Dawn gets her twinkling & sparkling eyes from Dallis & her European style & personality for doing the right thing from her mom.  At cocktails & then dinner, Dallis told the busboys & waitress how beautiful I am. I blushed .He was just so sweet to me  I think Dallis like most people was a victim of his own upbringing  & he regretted many decisions.  I also think Dawn understood this, hence, she forgave him. Dallis is at peace, isn't that lovely & as his daughter, Dawn is at peace 
in regards to him too. We can all learn from them.  Our date was full of so many memories. Good memories. Dawn, thank you for everything you do & have done for Dallis & myself.
Hard to believe it's his anniversary, it all goes by so quickly.

I remember in the 1980s Dawn asked me to go out with her dad Dallis. At the time I only dated younger men. But for Dawn I went out with Dallis & for her I  would do it again.  Dallis was the perfect gentleman.  We dined on the bay side in Newport Beach,  on the water. 
Dallis told the waitress how lucky he was to be on a date with a young beautiful lady.
Very sweet.
Dallas hit the jackpot lottery having Dawn for his daughter.
Dawn & Walter gave Dallis a home & family. He was truly blessed.  I believe these last years of a warm & loving home helped him to have a smooth passing over to GodsTown.
Dallis did something very right in this life ..... Dawn.
Dawn, you did everything & gave it your all taking care of your father.
