

DANIEL ALEGRIA Daniel Alegria, of Riverside, went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2012. He was 60. Daniel grew up in Glendale before he moved to Riverside in 1989. A memorial mass will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 16 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Riverside. Burial will follow at Riverside National Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, July 15 at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary in Riverside. Daniel was a graphic designer and studio manager who spent more than 30 years in the Advertising business before he retired in 2009. He served in the US Navy for four years and was honorably discharged in 1976. In his early twenties, Daniel helped exercise and train thoroughbred race horses. In addition, he enjoyed singing and recording music. He performed with several bands and was known for his distinct singing voice. Daniel is survived by his wife of 34 years, Arlinda; his son and daughter-in-law Dan and Chrystal Alegria; his daughter and son-in-law Andrea and Joey Arvizu; and his son Bobby Alegria, all of Riverside; his mother, Mary Alegria of Pocatello, Idaho; and his sister, China Nichols of Chubbuch, Idaho.
