Daniel Aloysius Gawrych

Danny is survived by his siblings, Denise Toczek, and her husband Rick, Cathy Gawrych, Tommy Gawrych, and Patricia Wrinkle, his daughter, Kelly Poirier, her husband Mark, and their two daughters, Kailtyn and Brianna, and, his son, Jeff Gawrych, his wife, Renee, and their three sons, Justin, Danny, and Liam.

Danny grew up in Riverside, California where he graduated from Riverside Poly High School. After graduating high school, Danny married his high school sweetheart, Laurie. Danny and Laurie were married 20 years and raised their two children, Kelly and Jeff in Riverside. In the early 90’s, Danny relocated to the Canyon Lake area, California where he resided for the rest of his life.

Danny worked as a janitorial supply salesman beginning in 1980. He successfully worked over forty years in the industry, which was marked by several Salesman of the Year awards. For the past two decades he worked for Gorm Corporation.

Danny, a man who had a quip and a story about everyone, loved his family and friends and truly enjoyed spending time with them. He especially treasured time with his children and grandchildren. He also was an avid sports fan who loved to watch his favorite teams take the field.

A celebration of life will be held in Riverside at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, September 18, 2021 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to City of Hope or St. Jude’s Children’s research hospital.
