

Mendoza. He was one of 11 children. In his early years he owned and ran various
businesses. In 1975, he met and married Silvia Prado and raised 13 children. His
last business was landscaping till he retired in 1995. He loved spending time with
family especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed singing, dancing, and
watching his Dodgers play. He was a loving, caring and respectful man devoted to
God, his wife and family. He always put others first. His pride and joy were his
grandchildren which he loved dearly. He loved celebrating life and enjoyed going
to church. His house was always filled with family and grandkids. He raised his
grandkids like his own and they loved him dearly. A lot of family friends looked to
him as a father figure, and always came to him for words of advice. The
neighborhood kids kept in touch throughout the years. He always put God first in
everything he did. He loved all his siblings, family and anyone he met. He made
sure he would always tell you he loved you, till the end. Daniel is survived by his 4
brothers and 1 sister: Louie, Jimmy, Rudy, James and Hortencia, His wife Silvia of
41 years, 13 children and spouses: Danny, Mary, Joseph (Angie), Yvonne, Jimmy
(Nanette), Jeffrey, Jerry (Adela), Sylvia, Silvia (Nacho), Maribel, Dolores
(Robert), Olivia (Guillermo), Lilia, 44 grandchildren and many great grandchildren
and endless family. He will be greatly missed by all who met him and ever known
him. Daniel Mendoza was granted his angel wings on June 25, 2016. His final days
where spent surrounded by family and friends that Daniel had touched in any way
throughout his memorable life.
