David F. Champion passed away at home with his family in Riverside, CA on May 5, 2012. He was born in Somers Point, New Jersey, but has been a Riverside resident for the past 56 years. He worked as a Systems Engineer for TRW for 34 years, and was a member of The Free and Accepted Masons of California, Evergreen Lodge #259. David enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years; Almeda Champion, son; Greg Champion, daughter; Linda Angle, brother; Joseph Champion, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. David will be deeply missed by all who knew him.Visitation will be held on Mon, May 14, 2012 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary. Graveside Service will be held on Tue, May 15, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park at 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA.
