She was born in Riverside, CA on January 29, 1955 to Antonio and Soledad Martinez. She is the eldest child of six. Debbie graduated from Ramona High School in 1972. She was momentarily married to Anthony Rivera where they lived in Riverside, CA and had three children.
She leaves as her legacy her children Anthony Joseph Jr (Holly), Roy Daniel (Phellina) and Adeliada Martinez Casiano (Josh). She was an amazing grandmother to six grandchildren; Travis Jacob, Frances Ruth, Angelica Rae, Ofelia Irene, Joshua James Jr., and Xavier Rey. She says farewell to her mother Soledad, her brothers Daniel (Annie), Anthony (Benita), sister Bobbie (Mauro) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Antonio, sisters Sandra and Cynthia, and is holding her precious angel Baby A Rivera.
Debbie was an electronic assembler for many years. She retired in 2018 from Hi-Rel Plastics where she worked for almost 20 years.
Debbie’s greatest joy was her family. She loved gathering with her San Diego and Fullerton family every chance she had. She loved to share stories and dance the night away. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved to brag about their accomplishments and show them off every chance she got.
Debbie was a kind spirited woman, always with a giving heart. She had a smile that was contagious and could light up any room. She made friends wherever she went, and even if she didn’t know you, she made it a point to say a simple “Hello” to you, which would turn into a 30 minute conversation. She will be missed by many.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, June 5th at 9:00 am Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary. We will proceed to Olivewood Cemetery. A reception will follow at Villegas Park Community Center at 1:30 pm.
