Debi was one of the sweetest, kindest gals I ever knew, with a magical laugh.  Working with her at Kaiser Outpatient Transcription was a highlight of my career.  She was a beautiful person, inside and out.

To Dorothy, Tammy, Randy, and Debbie's husband and children, whom I have never met, our thoughts go out to you. If I had known that she lived in Fontana, when I went to visit my brother, I would have gone to visit. I remember her talent for playing the piano, and her sweet spirit and friendship to the Macasil sisters. You will be missed, but may you know God has her in His presence and His comfort will always be with you.

My life has been richly blessed by having known Debi.  I miss her very much.

Praying for family and friends during this time. I will always remember Debi with the sweetest smile and cutest giggle. Debi was so consistent in her Christian walk.  What a good example for us! Though far away, I am remembering Debi during the time I lived in Long Beach and attended Gethsemane Baptist Church. Keep on giggling, Debi,  while in the arms of Jesus

We only met Debbie once last year but found her to be a beautiful sweet girl.  We are sure she was a daughter to be proud of.  We were so sorry to hear of her untimely passing our thoughts and prayers are with you and all who loved her.

Debbie was just one of those gals that would light up a room by her mere presence. She was an absolute pleasure to work with as I was on staff at Southland and a wonderful part of our young singles at GBT. I remember when Debi was Secretary at GBT. What a pleasant, sweet spirit and helpful attitude.
I remember her and her friend Joyce (Wilson), Kost learning to snow ski at Big Bear. Getting a little frustrated because she was falling often I offered some suggestions to Debi and Joyce. Debi told me with a sweet, pleasant voice and attitude, "I'm not listening to you."   I will keep the family in prayer. His yoke is easy!  Psalm 143:8  Art Gettler

Debi was the light that shined in our hearts. A loving, caring Mother and wife. She spoke only positive words in every conversation.  She was a pleasure to be around. May God heal your sorrow.

I am so saddened by the sudden death of Debi. We know she is safe in the arms of Jesus...and yet we sorrow...but not as those who have no hope.  My heartfelt sympathy and prayers to the family.

I'm so sorry to hear the sudden news of Debbie's passing.  I was one of many teenagers that attended the same church (GBT) and we all became a very tightnit group.  I would frequently be at the Butikofer's home on Sunday afternoon between church services.  Debbie was very sweet and also fun and have fond memories of those years shared with her family.  Prayers and blessings to her family as they morn her loss and celebrate her life.

I remember meeting Debbie in 1979 my first time at GBC , she had the most beautiful smile,and a very infectious laugh. I thanks God for her wonderful memories in my heart.
