Dianna Filadelfia, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and inspiring educator, passed away peacefully on October 9th, 2026 at the age of 61. She was a true walking miracle who defied all medical odds during her courageous battle with cancer since 2021. Throughout her journey, she never once lost her unwavering faith in God, holding onto the absolute certainty that the Lord was right beside her until the very end.
A natural leader and a brilliant light, Dianna was known for her piercing blue eyes, her radiant beauty, and a joyous presence that could literally be heard from miles away. She oozed creativity and talent, especially through her love for the performing arts. Dianna loved singing, and whenever music came on, she simply couldn't help but dance. Her vibrant spirit was matched by her fabulous sense of style and her exquisite taste in home decor, turning every space she touched into something beautiful.
Dianna believed in the power of education and leading by example. Through her hard work and determination, she earned her Master’s Degree in Leadership, acting as the ultimate role model for her students and family alike.
Above all, she poured her whole heart into her home. Dianna was the best cook and an even better baker. She baked with her entire soul, fiercely dedicated to her family, never once allowing a store-bought cake into her home for a family celebration. While she excelled at everything she did, her absolute favorite job in life was being a mother. Her heart grew even larger when she became a grandmother, a role she treasured deeply and embraced with pure joy for the precious year she was blessed to share with her grandchild.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edward; her devoted children, Brian and Celeste; her cherished granddaughter, Celina; and an extended community of family, friends, and former students whose lives were touched by her light.
