I cannot believe it has been 2 years since my Bestie has passed.  She was such a wonderful person.  Our time crafting together has been one of the greatest joys of my life.  I miss her every day!  Rest in peace my dearest friend.  I love you forever!

It is so hard to put into words what this special lady means to me.  Almost 30 years of friendship and hundreds of craft projects together.   Dola was the kindest person anyone could ever meet!  From her big Oklahoma accent to her down to earth smile.  This woman never said “no” and helped anyone she could!  I will miss her so much.❤️

If our hearts are broken over here on Adobe Avenue, I can't imagine the pain felt by Claude, KK, Randy, "The Girls" and CW and the whole family, really.  Dola was my best friend and the best next door neighbor someone could ask for.  xoxo  
She cared for my boys when I had to go back to work and I remember thinking how assuring that was - knowing she'd give them her 110% - as she did for any child.  She loved my boys as if they were her own - and it showed.  They learned love, comfort, joy, playfulness, laughter, and loved being with their Aunt Dola.  I can remember telling her not to hold them so much because I couldn't keep up with the love she showed them.  xoxo  Over all these years, she was always glowing with compliments of D,B,R.
She was an amazing cook and baker.  I loved that she cherished her grandmother's recipies and what it meant if I were given a copy of one.  I always felt special that she shared those with me.  I remember when, on the fly,  she came up with a stone wheat bread recipe and we baked and baked loaves until she was satisfied with the best bread it could be.  I still have that recipe. I took her to Nixon Library for a special chef-prepared, 7-course meal from one of the President's chefs.  She loved that day we had together!      All the laughter, goofiness and all the fun and tears we shared while our kids grew up.  xoxo     I couldn't get over how happy she was to attend all CW's sports and games in high school.  She never stopped talking about his talent and his athletic abilities and how proud she was of his workout ethic; she loved him through thick and thin.  xoxo  I felt so special to fly to Toronto with KK and Dola for a Miss Ocktoberfest pageant KK entered and won, of course!  I watched as she just glowed over her "little girl" as she worked the crowd with her glamour and her wit.  She embraced every word, every moment and everything about her success that day. xoxo   She was an angel to Claude through thick & thin.  RIP my friend
