I have often thought about DRE, as we used  to call him. I thought about him today and googled him to find that he was gone. I believe that he gave me a fresh start in life as far as employment , in a time that was very hard  for me , as he always believed in me. He was quite a character, as we all know. The fact that he passed away is upsetting and sad,  he seemed like he could live forever.  He used to call me Christian, I only hope he took that stand in his last days. So many memories... hello to his children.  I miss his positivity,  his "can do" approach, his mischievous smile, his Kennedy appearance with blue eyes.   He was class. His children were his joy.  I remember Carol, his wife, was also a joy.    There are few men in my life that made a difference like DRE.  We  were a family in his employ @ Riverside Medical Lab.  I remember  Linda, Sue, Gary , Sandi, Alice, Sandy, Brett, Dan and others that at age 67 , I can't remember at this moment. Darn it that we all have to die....God bless, I am still a Christian....
