Donna was a woman whose life was shaped by quiet strength, generosity, and deep devotion to our family. Born on July 11, 1936, she grew up with a profound appreciation for hard work, family, love, the church, mission work, and the simple joys of life.
She created a home where everyone felt welcome – through her stories, her warmth, and the way she remembered every birthday, every accomplishment, and every struggle. Her grandchildren knew her as a steady presence, someone who listened fully through love without condition.
In December 1956, she married her true love and they shared 57 wonderful years together. She often described their marriage as the most beautiful love story. Donna was a devoted church member and spent her life in service, including more than 35 years of nursing and five years in Africa doing mission work.
She cherished capturing memories as an avid photographer of her family and loved traveling all over the world. Her dedication to helping others, even took her to North Korea, where she served on a cardiac surgical team.
Above all, Donna leaves behind a legacy of kindness. Her life proves as a reminder that small acts of love, repeated over many years, have been extraordinary.
She is survived by four children, nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, three sisters, and one brother; all of them will carry her legacy forward.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
