Donna Joan Webb

Donna Joan “Jo” Webb (89) passed away on September 12, 2017, in Riverside, CA following a long battle with cancer. Jo was born June 18, 1928, in Minneapolis, MN to Edwin and Ruth Christiansen. She was raised in Minneapolis, but spent her adult years living in Shawnee Mission, KS, Palos Verdes, CA, Lakewood, CA, Riverside, CA, Henderson, NV, and Sun City West, AZ. During her late teens and early 20’s, she worked as a file clerk for Lloyds Insurance Company and as a key punch operator for Federal Reserve Bank. She was married to Lawrence Ernest Hjulberg from August 23, 1952, until his death on January 6, 1967. Together they had three sons: Gary Todd Hjulberg, Paul Alan Hjulberg, and Alan Lee Hjulberg. She was then married to James LaMar Webb from July 5, 1968, until his death on June 13, 2007.

Jo enjoyed bicycling, roller skating, sewing, making craft items, baking, playing games, golf, and crossword puzzles. Most of all, she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother, devoting most of her life to homemaking. She was a long-time member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West, AZ, and was a recent member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Riverside, CA.

Jo was preceded in death by her eldest son Gary Hjulberg. She is survived by her sons Paul (Lisa) Hjulberg of Riverside, CA, and Alan Hjulberg of Osakis, MN, her beloved sisters Sandra (Waldemar) Moline of Ahmeek, MI and Sally Bair of Washburn, WI, and her grandchildren, Ian Hjulberg of Sag Harbor, NY, Collin Hjulberg of Irvine, CA, Clayton Hjulberg of Riverside, CA, and Avery Hjulberg of Riverside, CA.
