My brother ( kuya Efren) he is very straightforward but very sweet. His selfless❤️ this past few weeks I saw him in pain but still manage to ask me how I am doing. It’s still vivid on my mind when I was growing up and he will come home to the Philippines he always had a big bag of M&Ms for me and from then on I felt special from my kuya. I am so grateful that I had a chance to talked to him to personally thank him for all the things that he did to our family. And able to say “I love you kuya” and it’s more meaningful because he answered me back. I didn’t know that was the last time. Kuya it is going to be hard and it will take time for us to recover but most important now is that you are no longer in pain. You will be missed❤️ We love you.. our kuya!!! from your siblings.. My beloved husband, Efren H. Benavidez, was born on November 27, 1950 in Naic Cavite. He was the first born of Teodoro Benavidez and Gertrudes Benavidez.  He grew up as a young  hardworking man . At a young age, he join the US military, supported his family  whom he loved so much. 
We met in New Jersey in 1980 and got married  September 14,1981. We were blessed with two beautiful wonderful sons, Elmer who we fondly called Ogi, and Evan  who we lovingly called Eb.  He was a good father to his boys. We surround our boys with so much love. Years go by and our family grew and Ogi married Jantra Burd, our sweet loving daughter.  Efren became a very proud grandfather in June 2009 , our beloved Jacob was born.  And for the second time  in  June 2016, we were blessed a princess, our  sweet loving  Emma, our granddaughter.  We are constantly present in their lives . Efren loved family get togethers where he would lovingly cooked for his family.  Birthdays, anniversaries,holidays, promotions, graduations  were all happily celebrated by our family.  We were  surrounded by  good friends. who all became our family. 
Efren, my Mahal, my Pogi and my Pogs, I am beyond blessed that you’re my husband ❤️ There’s no one I’d rather share my heart, my faith and my life than with you. I love you always and forever. I live looking back to the day we met, remembering all those moments that are forever in my heart. I love knowing that time has made us stronger and brought us even closer together…. And when I think about tomorrow, wondering what our love story will hold, I know it’ll be wonderful, because I’ll be sharing it with you, Mahal❤️ From the moment I saw you, I wanted to meet you, from the moment I met you, I wanted to know you, I was in love  with you. From the moment I loved you, I wanted to share my life with you… forever… and from that moment to this moment, I will love  you  with all my heart. I will see you in my dreams, hug you tight …until we meet again my Pogs❤️❤️❤️

To my Tito Efren, Thank you for all the great memories and everything you did when we move in the US. I will miss how you always push me to always be better at my work and what i do in life and complimenting me every time you see me calling me “POGI.” Gonna miss you Tito and i know you’ll be with Nanay and Tatay, Tita Ellen watching over our entire family. Goodbye is a simple word but yet so painful to people left behind by their loved ones. Through their passing it leaves scars in our hearts. He who leaves can’t be with us physically but forever will be in our heart. KUYA Efren, though you left so soon and unexpected to some you leave us good memories… in behalf of my family I thank you for everything. Thank you for all your words of wisdom, for all your jokes , for guiding us and of course for being my big brother and a good uncle to my children. Now we’ve got another Angel who will watch us on our journey here on earth… hug to Nanay, Tatay, Ellen, Nanay Tuding and Tatay Doring… Rest In Peace Kuya🙏🙏🙏

To my loving kuya Efren thank you very much sa lahat lahat ng mag stayed kami sa inyo for the first time we came in US . We where never forget you. 

Kuya Efren truly was a wonderful soul and I pray that God rewards him with heaven. Thank you for being the best Kuya to our bff Alyn. Thank you for all your kindness, you will never be forgotten.
