Lavon,

The combination of the Wimsett and Craycraft clans from the middle Illinois and Indiana area; Georgetown, Cayuga, Kingman, Danville. Then on to being a Farley as Curtis sweep her off her feet. A patient mother taking care of her daughter Cheryl, amidst some of Cheryl's physical challenges.

In all, one who could keep you entertained through her talk, enthusiasm, and idea about things she would like to see. Also one who endured a good number of family challenges. Success is not always defined in what one has accomplished or accumulated, but rather how they successfully maneuvered a challenging path from start to finish.

You did well, smiling to the end, having just seen some shows she really wanted to attend in Branson, Missouri. May the Lord look down on you and receive you with open arms, great smile and loving heart.

Will miss our rides and talks.

Lavon,

Close cousin and friend to my Mom Melba Rodriguez. Many memories picking her up in Fontana and heading to her favorite restaurant to share a meal with her, Cheryl and Mom. Many a visit while she lived in Wynette, Oklahoma where I had some of the first chicken fried steak and other country fair. Most memorable taking her to San Antonio, the River Walk, Boat Ride, Spanish Village, River Show and Mammoth Digging site outside Waco. Just make sure she always had her bottle of Pepsi handy and a puzzle book to keep her occupied.

Key is she loved the simple things

In Memory,

John and Wendy Rodriguez

Lavon,

Always a positive attitude and smile even through some of the more challenging times. Happy when she could sit doing a puzzle book while listening to her music. Ecstatic getting a chance to meet the radio DJs at the RFD station in Fort Worth and having lunch at Billy Bobs Stack Yards area.

Wonderful times. Will miss this young lady!

With Great Love,

John Rodriguez
