ELVIS V. LUCKY LUTHER JR. Born on April 4, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Elvis and Beulah Luther, Lucky moved to Riverside as a child. He graduated from Colton HS in 1962 and entered the electrical apprentiship program soon after. Lucky married Carol Conn in 1964 and had 3 children: Cheryl, Brenda, and Daniel. Lucky became an accomplished and respected member of the electrical trade, serving 45 years as a member of IBEW Local #440. Lucky was passionate about hunting and loved to tinker with his farm equipment and tools. He especially enjoyed spending his retirement years with his grandchildren and "adopted" grandchildren. Lucky was preceded in death by his parents Elvis V. Luther and Beulah Luther, and his sister Barbara Zabkar. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Carol Luther; his children: Cheryl Couture, Brenda Luther, and Daniel Luther; son-in-law Brian Couture; daughter-in-law Theresa Luther; grandchildren Devon Couture, Michael Luther, Daniel Couture, Kaitlin Luther, and Lucky Luther; and sister, Debra Kessler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Many thanks to those who helped care for him. Visitation will be held at Acheson & Graham Mortuary on Friday, Jan. 25th from 6pm-8pm. Graveside services will be held at Olivewood Memorial Park on Saturday, Jan. 26th at 10am. Memorial Services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Saturday, Jan. 26th at 11am, reception following. Pastors David Schilling and Steven Borst officiating. Dress is casual; jeans and "T's" okay. Arrangement entrusted to: Acheson & Graham Mortuary (951) 688-1221
