Ernesto Figueroa Cornu

With shattered hearts and boundless love, we announce the passing of Ernesto, who went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2026, at the age of 36.

Ernesto was born in Riverside on October 20, 1989, at just 27 weeks, weighing only 2 pounds and 14 ounces. From the very beginning, he had the soul of a fighter. He spent the first three months of his life in the hospital NICU courageously battling for survival and undergoing open-heart surgery. Despite every obstacle he faced, Ernesto remained a true warrior throughout his life, and gave us many years of happiness and sweet memories.

He will forever be remembered for his infectious laugh, adventurous spirit, and deep love for the beach. Ernesto had a generous soul and a quiet strength that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, warmth, and gentle heart left a lasting impression on all whose lives he entered.

Above all, Ernesto cherished his family. He shared an immeasurable love with his grandmother, his mother, and his brother, and that love was returned sin condicionalmente. Although his time with us was tragically cut short, we are forever grateful for the gift of having him in our lives and for the unconditional love we shared.

Ernesto’s memory will live on in our hearts forever. We will miss him immensely, he is survived by his grandmother, Maria de Jesus; his mother, Maria; and his brother, Luis.

Visitation will be held at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505, US, on July 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4824 Jones Ave, Riverside, CA 92505, US, on July 13, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
