It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Esperanza Avila, on June 23rd, at the age of 83. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Our mother was loving, strong-willed, and resilient. So much so that she left to meet her Maker on her own terms. She lived, laughed, cried, and stood tall through it all. She did it her way. As we struggle with your passing, rest assured you have prepared us individually for what is to come. We thank you, Lord, for your guidance and compassion during this time. Revelation 21:4 says, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more. The old things have disappeared.” Rest in peace, Esperanza. As you leave us behind, we will forever be shaped by your love and strength. Godspeed
