Francine was born on September 15th 1932 in Rochester, NY to Samuel and Francesca Bifarella. At the age of 14, her family moved to Southern California where she has been a long time resident.
Francine met the love of her life, Clarence, while working as a “soda jerk” and it was love at first sight. The two of them just celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this past December 1st. Francine was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who taught us all the meaning of friendship and joy. Everyone who knew her would say she loved unconditionally, laughed whole hardily, and never stopped smiling.
Francine is survived by her husband and best friend Clarence, daughters Terri (Chris) and Elyse (Mike) and son Glenn (Christine), 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren with two more on the way, and more friends than anyone can count.
Francine was involved in numerous clubs and activities and was known to be the ringleader for spontaneous parties and get-togethers. During her life she loved to read, camp, cook, and travel. In her early years she volunteered as Brownie, Girl Scout, and Cub Scout den leader.
Francine and Clarence traveled extensively and owned various campers, airplanes, sailboats and classic cars. She has done everything from walking much of the John Muir Trail to flying her own plane. Her true passion was her family and friends and didn’t need much of an excuse to take a cruise or coordinate an event of any sort. She was particularly proud of her 1957 Ford Thunderbird that was meticulously rebuilt by Clarence.
Francine was involved in the Huntington Harbor Yacht Club, The Skylarks Flying Club, Riverside-Corona Model T Club, Southern California T-Birds, Early Ford V-8 Club, and worked with friends to quilt blankets for kids who might need the extra warmth and love.
A Celebration of Life honoring Francine will be held on Saturday, January 19th at 11:00 AM at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary 7944 Magnolia Ave Riverside, CA (951) 688-1221.
