Visitation will be held in the Harlow Memorial Chapel on October 13, 2020 at 9:00 am at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA. A Rosary Service and Liturgy of the word will follow at 10:00am with a committal service and graveside blessing at 11:00am.
Francisco Gonzalez Ramirez of Rancho Cucamonga, California, went to his Heavenly Father on October 4, 2020. He was 78 years old. Francisco was born to Cristobal and Fermina Ramirez on June 2, 1942 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and relocated to California as a young man.
A Backhoe operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local Union 12, Francisco was proud to be a member since 1969. He earned his General Contractor’s license in 1974 and eventually started his own construction company, FGR construction.
To Francisco, his family and faith were his most important interests, spending all of his free time in activities surrounding them. He was a devoted husband and father and he adored his grandson. He owned his own home in Rancho Cucamonga for 43 years and loved providing a stable home to his family. He enjoyed tending to his yard and he loved to garden.
He is survived by his son, Robert Ramirez, his daughters, Alisa Islas (Robert Islas) and Laura Lopez (Antonio Lopez) and grandson, Matthew Islas. He also leaves behind his brother, Cristobal.
Francisco is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy, his father, Cristobal, his mother, Fermina, and his brother, Jose.
