Frank was born March 26, 1941 in Corona, California.
He retired in 2000 from the Corona-Norco Unified School District-Auburndale as head custodian after 25 years.
He often packed up his family and took road trips up north to visit family. He loved to play pool, play horseshoes, play in bowling leagues and be at the casino. He also loved driving his 1969 Pontiac Firebird and his 1964 Chevy Truck while jamming to the sounds of oldies while enjoying a cold one and having a good time.
Preceded in death by his father Jose Chavira, step-daughter Bernice Barron and wife Abigail Valdez Chavira. He is survived by his siblings, Rosemary Chavez, Dorothy Roa (Tony), David Termenal (Irene), Carlos Chavira and Ernie Chavira; his step-son, Jimmy Sustaita; step-daughter Joann Rodriguez (Rigo); daughters, Angie Medina (Robert), Denise Chavira (Pablo), Monica Munguia (Rodrick) and Rebecca Chavira; 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
