Georgiana was a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, and friend, who was loved by many. She was born on August 30, 1943 to Dora and Theodore Vasquez in Redlands and was raised in Rubidoux. She attended Rubidoux High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart Jose P. Corona. They fulfilled their dream of having a big family together with 6 children Deborah, Sandra, Melissa, Andrew, Paul, Veronica,16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Georgiana and Jose celebrated their 60th Anniversary on December 7th, 2023. She was a great role model and inspiration to all, her legacy will live on through her family. Georgiana loved spending time with her family and friends, fellow church members of River of Life Church where she worshiped and praised God with Pastor Richard Joy. Georgiana was a happy outgoing person and fun to be around. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and be there when you needed her. She was a sweet kind hearted devoted mother and wife whose smile lit up a room. The things she enjoyed was being around her family, driving around Fairmount Park with her sweetheart, picnics in the park and movie nights with a buttery bowl of popcorn. Her favorite places to have lunch with her family were Tina’s, Tony’s and Sizzlers for special occasions. She loved the holidays as it brought her joy to decorate her home and spend time with her family. Her hobbies were collecting Angels, Betty Boop memorabilia and going shopping. Her favorite shows were I Love Lucy and Amen. Georgiana lived a long fulfilling life surrounded by her loved ones. Don’t ever forget the memories you have of her, hold them dear to your heart. She was a true fighter until she took her last breath at the age of 80 when she was called home to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday Morning, January 3rd 2024.
